Orland Park police arrested Arlene C. Brostrom, 44, of Orland Park, at 9:25 p.m. on March 16 and charged her with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .08 or more and driving too fast for conditions after she crashed her vehicle into a tree in the 18100 block of Lakeshore Drive, police said. Her court date is April 28 in the 5th District Municipal Court in Bridgeview.
In other Orland Park Police news, Alexander F. Brigando, 19, of Orland Park, was arrested just after 3:55 p.m. on March 18 and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis after police saw him staggering down the street in the 8300 block of Golfview Drive, police said. A police search revealed a bag of cannabis in his pocket, according to the police report. His court date is April 13 in Bridgeview.
Sylvia A. Lukasik, 44, of Tinley Park, was arrested at 10 a.m. on March 18 and charged with retail theft after she removed more than $100 worth of merchandise from a department store in the Orland Square Mall, police said. Her court date is April 26 in Bridgeview.
Joseph R. Haddad, 18, and Jonathan R. Haddad, 17, both of Orland Park were arrested just before 4:20 p.m. on March 18 and charged with battery after they punched a 14-year-old boy several times at a workout center in the 16300 block of La Grange Road, police said. A court date on April 29 has been scheduled.
Beata A. Jarosz, 21, of Orland Park, was arrested just before 1:30 p.m. on March 18 and charged with retail theft after she removed a woman’s blouse worth $89 from a department store in the Orland Square Mall. Her court date is April 26 in Bridgeview.
Nevada V. Foreman, 34, of Sauk Village, was arrested on March 10 in the 22400 block of Merrill Avenue and charged with theft of leased property after she failed to return a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am from an Orland Park car rental service, police said. Her court date was March 17 in Bridgeview.
Karen M. Curtin, 49, of Alsip, was arrested just after 5:05 p.m. on Feb. 1 and charged with retail theft after she concealed a pair of earrings worth $19 in the pocket of her jeans and exited a store in the 200 block of Orland Park Place, police said. Her court date was March 14 in the Orland Park Civic Center.
Carl D. Adams, 33, of Joliet, was arrested at 1 p.m. on March 15 at the Orland Park Police Station after police learned he had an outstanding warrant from the Lake County’s Sheriff’s Police Department on the charge of unlawful use of a credit card, police said. He was released on bond pending a court appearance in the Lake County Court on March 30.
Eric K. Altman, 22, of Homer Glen, Andrew A. Haehnlein, 21, of Alsip and Adrian R. Sandoval, 18, of Homer Glen were cited for reckless driving after police observed three drivers traveling at a high rate of speed, weaving and cutting each other off in the 8600 block of 159th Street, police said. A court date on April 13 in Bridgeview has been set.
Joseph M. Delgiudice, 36, of Frankfort, turned himself over to Orland Park police just after 2:20 p.m. on March 10 after he had a warrant for obstructing a peace officer, police said. His court date is April 13 in Bridgeview.
